I am a woodland and forest photographer based in Wiltshire, a county that is blessed with some incredible woods and ancient forests, most notably Savernake Forest and West Woods near Marlborough.

These are both locations that I am drawn to return to time and time again, and I believe my experience highlights the truth that beauty and inspiration can often best be found near home.

Each time I return I seek or discover a new composition or a new interpretation of a well loved scene. It is this repeated renewal of energy and vision that draws me back endlessly and allows me to capture the essence and beauty of my locations, as subtle detail and or the play of light at a particular moment makes each visit unique but which also holds a universal truth about the natural world around us. Each image that I create therefore tells a story, of a never to be repeated moment in time where the woodlands in front of me and my own emotional reaction fuse together to create an image full of content.

Through my work I try to portray my own experience of profound peace and engagement with the natural world and hopefully awaken a similar response in my viewers so they too can experience the wonder and enchantment to be found in our forests and woodlands.
