1-2-1 Workshops

I offer 1-2-1 workshop sessions in my local woodlands Savernake Forest and Westwoods in Wiltshire. Savernake is the perfect training ground for woodland photographers of all levels, and its scale and variety is so vast that i’m still discovering new areas with each visit. Tried and tested locations can be revisited, offering possibilities for different compositions and photographs under different seasons and conditions.

With my intimate knowledge of Savernake Forest built over many years, and understanding of woodland composition, I can show you some unique locations and provide tips to take your woodland photography game up a notch!

All I ask is that you have a reasonable level of fitness - it’s likely we will be walking for a few hours, for which you’ll need a good pair of hiking boots or wellies. Also, it’s recommended you’re already adept in the technical operation of your camera, including in full manual mode.

If you’re interested in a workshop, please send me an email and i’d be delighted to arrange a session at your convenience, tailored to your preferences and needs.

Regards, Nathan

‘‘I met Nathan several years ago through a shared passion for woodland photography. The quality that struck me first was his absolute passion for and dedication to his subject. His work reflects a beautiful interpretation of woodlands, forests and ancient trees. His images are stunning, subtle, genuine and very honest, capturing the essence of English woodlands. He has remained true to his vision which is why his portfolio is coherent and so appealing.

His enthusiasm is infectious and he has a selfless nature that wants to share and teach beyond the creation of his own work. This is a rare quality and the cornerstone of good teaching ability so I would have no hesitation to highly recommend a workshop with him’’
