Just a five minute drive from my house is my local woodland Leipzig Plantation. A small woodland sitting on top of Roundway hill in Devizes, which is often surrounded in the low cloud and gathers an atmosphere second to none.

Believed to be named after the the Battle of Leipzig - 1813, which was one of the most crucial battles of the Napoleonic Wars and has become known as the Battle of Nations because of it’s size and the sheer numbers of troops that took part.

With it being so close to me it gives me the opportunity to get there quickly when conditions are at their best, trying to capture it through all of the seasons with only the winter snow eluding me so far.
